Capturing Leadership: Carlton Gates’ CIO Views Feature

At The Monogram Collective, we had the privilege of serving as the creative director and photographer for Carlton Gates' CIO Views magazine feature. This project, our first official assignment, allowed us to oversee every detail of the photoshoot—from location selection and wardrobe styling to coordinating hair and makeup, as well as photography and editing.

Carlton’s feature in CIO Views was an exciting opportunity to highlight his leadership and professionalism through compelling imagery. We were thrilled to see three of our photos chosen for the feature, including the cover shot!

For this project, we partnered with Adel Shaw from Spoil Me Hair Salon & Spa in Chicago, who provided excellent styling and makeup services, ensuring Carlton’s look was polished and professional. The end result is a series of headshots and lifestyle images that reflect Carlton’s expertise and character.
